Gear Rigging Workshop — November 2026

November 11–12, 2026Wednesday – Thursday
TAS Aviation, Defiance, OH (KDFI)$2,5003 seats left

Two days of hands-on, technician-level instruction on rigging Twin Cessna electromechanical landing gear. Four seats per class.

Master the gear rigging procedure you can't learn from a manual

The electromechanical landing gear on Twin Cessnas demands a rigging procedure that's precise, specialized, and best learned hands-on. This two-day workshop, held at TAS Aviation's facility in Defiance, Ohio, is a deep dive into the complete process for properly rigging these systems — taught by the people who do it every day.

Born out of member requests for more hands-on, technical learning, the Gear Rigging Workshop has become a staple educational course offered periodically throughout the year. Each session is deliberately small: just four participants per class, so everyone gets time on the aircraft and direct access to the instructors.

Who this class is for

This workshop is designed for A&P-certified technicians and those who actively maintain their own aircraft. Owners and operators are welcome to register, but be prepared: the course is conducted at a technician knowledge level, and a working understanding of basic aircraft maintenance is expected.

If you work on twin Cessna landing gear — or want to be able to — this is the most focused instruction available on the subject.
